Lunch with a Leader – Justin Clupper

Justin ClupperA couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege to have lunch with Justin Clupper at one of my (and his) favorite places downtown.  I had reached out to Justin to meet for lunch so I could get to know him better.  What prompted this?  One of the leaders on my team, Amanda Muldoon, had just graduated from Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.’s Leadership Fort Wayne.  At their spring event at Sweetwater, I heard Justin speak which led me to reach out to him.

Justin’s story can be summarized this way:  he seeks to improve whatever he is involved in.  From his early days at a high school student in Columbia City where he helped lead that effort to make their on-campus radio station one of the best in the nation to his work at Taylor University’s on-campus radio station.  There he helped lead the work to move from an over-the-air station to an online station.  Justin’s passion was to make things better.

After graduation, Justin worked in various fields before landing at Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.  Again, his “M.O.” was to step into a situation and create better processes which led to better results.  And he continues that today in his role as Director of Signature Programs.

If you want to know where leadership is heading in the Fort Wayne area, Justin Clupper is one of your go-to people.  Justin is more than just an insightful, intelligent man.  He is passionate about “building community leaders and attracting great talent” in NE Indiana.

Justin is a great family man.  It also turns out we attend the same church, Emmanuel Justin Clupper familyCommunity Church (hey, it’s a big church!).

You’ll see Justin from time to time at First Fridays.  You’ll find him on LinkedIn and on Twitter, too.  Make a connection with Justin.  You’ll quickly see how and why Justin adds value to NE Indiana.
